Một anime chuyển thể từ trò chơi di động Monster Strike của mixi. Nhân vật chính, Ren Homura, trở về thị trấn Kaminohara, nơi anh từng sống. Nhưng trước đây anh ấy có thực sự sống ở nơi này không? Một cảm giác khó chịu kéo theo ký ức của anh. Trong khi đó, một trò chơi lạ được cài đặt cưỡng bức vào điện thoại thông minh của anh ấy - trò chơi có tên Monster Strike. Một loạt trận chiến đang chờ đợi anh ta. Thông qua cuộc chiến khốc liệt, anh ghép lại những ký ức rải rác của mình đồng thời khám phá ra sự thật của trò chơi.
